De qué se trata?
Seis niños con poderes sobrenaturales reciben la misión de proteger al mundo de la amenaza de espíritus y demonios. Una profecía anuncia que una séptima joven se unirá al grupo y con ella se desatará la guerra. Luego de veinte años de vigilia, surge una nueva amenaza: un ser sobrenatural apodado the Ripper siembra el terror en las calles de Londres.
Y justo cuando Alexi, el líder del grupo, comienza a perder la esperanza aparece una extraña joven que podría ser la de la profecía.

Puntos a favor:
Un estilo de narración atrapante y casi poético. Una ambientación interesante aunque los detalles sobrenaturales resultan un tanto confusos. Los personajes principales son queribles: el héroe melancólico y la damisela de buen corazón con misteriosos poderes. Los amantes terminan juntos y felices.

Libro de quejas:
Algunos detalles relacionados con lo sobrenatural me resultaron confusos, dándome la sensación de que ese universo no estaba bien definido ni sometido a leyes precisas.

En resumen:
Una historia de misterio sobrenatural y amor predestinado, bellamente narrada en el clásico estilo de los romances históricos.
